First photo of little Darla
are from when she was brought in to the hospital Darla was intercepted
when being brought in to the North central shelter, CA. Her back was
broken from unknown cause. She was in great pain. The next set of pictures
are from 2 weeks later. She improved significantly.
The sad news is that the orthopedic specialists say
they do not believe she will regain use of her rear legs. However, she
is sitting up now and even pulling herself around by her front legs.
DONATIONS NEEDED
Foster Home -
Needs a home environment where she can get all the love and play she is
craving. She is only a year old, adores other dogs and is very affectionate
and loving with every person she meets. Her spirit is resilient.
The following will be provided for her: all her food and supplies (diapers
and crate). She will need to wear diapers and whenever unsupervised she will
need to be crated.
Funds - Accupuncture/Rehab - We desperately
need to start acupuncture and rehabilitation for little Darla. The vet bill
at the hospital is over $3000 but it is essential that we start working on
trying to help her regain the use of her rear legs.
Cart - We
also need to purchase a cart for little Darla.
Permanent Home - This would be what we really want for this sweet
little girl. If you know anyone interested please contact us.
