There was no room at the inn for this homeless and very pregnant
dachshund/lab/shepherd mix at the South Central Shelter and so she was
scheduled for euthanization on Christmas Eve. Much Love Animal Rescue
came
to her rescue in hopes that she would be able to deliver her puppies in
a
safe, clean veterinary office instead of the South LA shelter. But, due
to
the stress of being in the shelter and the journey that led her there,
she
delivered seven puppies on December 23, six of who survived.
Mary and her puppies are now in safely in our care, and we are seeking
donations to help cover the costs yet to be incurred including medical
care,
spay & neuter, microchipping, vaccinations and boarding until she and
the
puppies are available for adoption in 2 months time. Yes, these
adorable
bundles of joy will be seeking forever familes and so will Mama Mary.
Mary's puppies were all given names that translate to PEACE.
They are: PAX, BARIS, UDO (Boys) SABINA, MIREMBE, EIRENE (Girls)
Mary and the volunteers of Much Love thank you for your support.

PLEASE SAVE THIS ANGEL TODAY, THE POUND IS OPEN UNTIL 7:00 p.m.
TODAY!!!
THIS ADORABLE LITTLE PETITE BLONDE DAINTY DACHSHUND/SHEPHERD
OR DACHSHUND/YELLOW LAB/SHEPHERD DOCILE LAMB IS VERY PREGNANT AND
APPEARS TO BE ABOUT TO DELIVER HER BABIES AT ANY MOMENT!!! SHE MAY BE KILLED AT
ANY MOMENT, BEFORE HER BABIES ARE EVEN BORN.
The slaughterhouse may kill her
before her pups can be born. The pups are most certainly already viable (able
to live outside the womb), so they will be killing the whole family anyway.
This darling girl is so beautiful and sweet, healthy and very very cute,
and totally easily adoptable go see her, you will fall in love, and you
will want to take her with you. Her kennel card lists her as 4 years old,
but she's probably less than half that age--she's young and vital, and
she's in great condition. She has such velvety fur, so soft and lusciously
golden tan colored, with a few very subtle smoky highlights, and she has such
exquisite amber eyes, so soulful, and as you can see they express the worry
she has at being imprisoned and facing death in the slaughterhouse. She weighed
43 lbs. at the time of impounding a few days ago. She's so friendly and
gentle, a docile little lamb, so friendly and gentle, so sweet as she comes to
greet you so hopefully and lovingly, so polite and such a little lady. But
as her delivery time approaches, she just lays in the corner now, resting
to conserve her energies and awaiting her babies. Expectant moms are
among the most at risk at the LAAS pounds--they are killed as soon as they are available, and this little angel is available today!!! Please get
this little fawn out alive now, let her have her pups, then spay/neuter the
entire family when pups are weaned. The slaughterhouse is eager to kill her and
her babies inside, despite the fact that sheZs very adoptable, and despite the
fact that the pound is EMPTY. Please donZt let this incredible young
angel girl be killed!!! Please save her precious angel life, and the lives of
her little babies!!! I am an unaltered female, brown and tan Shepherd mix. My
age is unknown. I have been at the shelter since Dec 17, 2005.
